Roof Cleaning Services With a Low-Pressure Wash
CleanRoof, the roof cleaning side of EFF Painting, has cleaned roofs with mold and algae in Annapolis and surrounding areas for over 15 years. We apply a bleach and water solution at low to no pressure, the method major shingle manufacturers recommend.
The wash does not harm the shingles or take away from the life of your roof.
BeforeAfterCleanRoof Services
Soft Wash Roof Cleaning Service for Shingle Roofs
We soft wash shingle roofs on homes across Anne Arundel and Queen Anne's County. Our bleach and water solution, applied at low to no pressure, cleans the shingles without damaging them, and it's the method major shingle manufacturers recommend.
Black Streak, Algae and Moss Removal
Black streaks, algae, moss and lichen are common on roofs in Arnold, Severna Park and across Maryland. The growth traps moisture on the shingles, and left alone it leads to costly repairs. Cleaning removes it and protects your shingles from premature aging.
Cedar Roof Restoration, Cleaning and Sealing
We restore and refinish cedar shake roofs in Edgewater and across Anne Arundel County. We clean away dirt, algae and organic growth, then apply a protective sealer that helps the wood stand up to moisture and weather. A restored cedar roof brings back the warm color of the wood.
BeforeAfterRoof Washing Services Before You Replace Your Roof
Many homeowners see a stained roof and replace it when a cleaning would have done the job. Ask CleanRoof to look at your roof before you pay for a new one.

Yes. We apply a bleach and water solution at low to no pressure, the method major shingle manufacturers recommend. It does not harm your shingles or take away from the life of your roof.
What are the black streaks on my roof?
Dark streaks and green patches on a roof are usually algae, mold or moss. They trap moisture on the shingles, and CleanRoof can remove them with a low-pressure wash.
Should I clean my roof or replace it?
Many homeowners replace a roof that only needed cleaning. Ask CleanRoof to look at a stained roof before you pay for a new one, and Dan will tell you what he sees.
Do you clean cedar roofs?
Yes. We restore and refinish cedar shake roofs. We clean away dirt, algae and organic growth, then seal the wood to protect it from moisture and weathering.
How long have you cleaned roofs?
CleanRoof has cleaned roofs with mold and algae for over 15 years. EFF Painting Services, the company behind CleanRoof, has served Annapolis since 1994.
